Great report!

When I see some thermal image videos I often wonder if it is just from some video game.

I also wonder if they have some kind of recovery system to "reel in" the fibre optic cable after the drone blows up.?

I can envision some one with a big fishing reel type device reeling in the fibre optic cable. I'm thinking they might be able to re-use them? Maybe not at the front but maybe send them back to the factory that is making them. But then again - maybe it is cheap enough to just make new ones.

I wonder how strong that fibre optic cable is? With it laying all over the place could it do harm to folks on motor cycles? Or sticking out the open hatch of an AFV? We always had wire cutter's attached to our LAVs here in Canada. I did notice, on the video about buying small vehicles for the Troops, that the buggy had a pipe welded to the front of it. Maybe as some sort of wire cutter/catcher?

I've wondered about the fibre optic cable since I first heard of them. Hopefully I'll find out about it sometime.

Cheers
