Things are getting wild all over the world now.

Are you going to start categorizing the topics?

I really appreciate all the time and effort you put into collecting the news and links. It must be like a full time job for you. If you were to offer any merch like shirts or coffee cups I'd buy it!

I've stretched the limits of Substack's capabilities! It's a full time job that I'm trying to make less laborious.

The 'Web Sitrep' page is one I've been trying to create for months. I used to individually take screen caps of articles, paste the picture, then create the link. Then move on to the next. That was tedious as hell, looked hokey, and took too long.

So I wrote software to take a list of news web site addresses, figure out their RSS feed options, download their RSS feed data. Then it uses the RSS feed data to download the supplied picture and title text for the sites last 10 articles. I then run each article's text through a keyword filter to select articles that are a good fit, and not over 30 hours old. It then creates a Facebook style banner/card image for each. It does that for 25 sites so far. That produces about 50 worthy articles daily. Then it complies all the images and links into a web page that I can copy directly to a Substack post!

'The Stacks' page works in a similar manner, but was way easier to write.

Thanks, good job.

I know that these things become quite laborious, even when you automate parts of it. I've managed some projects at work that become very difficult to maintain.... even when you simplify the layouts, the data storage and automate the data processing. Even when using Wikis and all kinds of tools it still becomes very hard and if you're not careful you find yourself spending most of your time managing the presentation and not spending as much time as you want on the contents.

BTW, the comments at the Ritter story you linked in Sputnik... those people are nuts.

Ritter is correct though. Although I may disagree with his stand on Venezuela.

BTW, have you seen this? https://francesleader.substack.com/p/the-mother-of-all-false-flag-events
