That was a great interview. I don't think it was what Tucker is used to. Putin stays amazingly on topic until he has finished it. Tucker was a bit flustered with all the frontloaded history at first, not knowing if it would all be a civics class. In the end, I think it was not what America is used to either. Here, we are used to ADHD interview style and drive by gotchas. I think people can look at it and see that it is more than just a madman pursuing the Soviet Reunion.
omg no, what he (Tucker C.) got is so completely and utterly unmarketable by US television standards, it's actually impressive. Like he's sitting there making this pseudo concerned facial expression, but apparently it takes energy to put it on. And after the 2nd hour, Putin going on and on and on circling back the historical context, the look just breaks down... Tucker's like 'wtf how will I ever get another normal interview again after this?'
