I simply admire a diplomatic wisdom of Annalena Berbock: β€œOn possible talks with Putin: "I wish we could negotiate. But right now it's not about what you

want, it's about facing reality."” Indeed, facing reality is a bit of a problem, isn’t it? And Ukrainians and Russians are dying! It is horrible. THANK YOU for your reporting!

The flamethrowers scare me the most but cluster bombs are hot on its heels. Biden's introduction of cluster bombs will cause a lot of Ukrainian suffering. If two guys are in a boxing match, you don't give one a knife if the other has a machine gun. That's what the poor Ukrainians are facing, because of the sheer amount of cluster bombs the Russians have in storage.

There was a comment on another site which claimed that Ukraine already had stocks of Soviet era cluster munitions (152mm?) and the reason they needed US shells was because they had already used them up. No idea if true or not but plausible.

Totally plausible. But the USA knows that Russia has tons of it, and will fire in response, so why is the USA deliberately killing more Ukrainians.
