This short collection of articles will give you a better understanding of how America conducts Foreign Policy.
The Strategy
Zbigniew Brzezinski was the brains behind America’s Foreign Policy for the last several decades. Neocons and Liberal Interventionists follow it like a bible. The link below will give you his vision for what America needs to pull off.
For a more in-depth view of his ‘vision’, you can read his entire work ‘The Grand Chessboard’ from the link below. This PDF version of his book was found among the trove of info captured in the 2011 Abbottabad raid.
The Deep State
When you say ‘The Deep State’ in a discussion, you are automatically branded as a conspiracy theorist. The following article explains in simple terms what ‘The Deep State’ actually is.
After reading the article, you’ll begin to understand why American Foreign Policy is not something the president actually controls.
Presidents that go against the wishes of The Deep State don’t fare well. Presidents that play ball will enjoy the protection of The Deep State. It’s important to understand that The Deep State is bipartisan. Regardless of the usual gridlock in Congress, The Deep State always gets its budget items funded.
America has recently had two presidents that were not Washington insiders, Obama and Trump.
Obama ran on a promise to get out of Afghanistan. He failed to understand that this was not something The Deep State would permit. Once he was introduced to the deep state, he chose to swim with that tide, rather than be crushed by it. Obama didn’t start out as a warrior, but he became one pretty fast.
Trump ran on draining the swamp. He ignored pushback from The Deep State, and will be crushed by it. Alleged bad handling of a handful of alleged classified documents led swiftly to criminal charges. The wrath of the media has never been higher. No outsider will ever dare to try this again.
Biden is entirely compliant with The Deep State. Alleged bad handling of alleged classified documents will result in an investigation by friends who will slow walk it until it is forgotten. Obvious dementia will be entirely ignored by the media.
Meddling
Prior to 1980’s, American Intelligence Agencies handled the overthrow or undermining of foreign governments. This was all reformed in 1983. Those tasks didn’t end, they just got their own office and budget.
Sanctions
Another key element of applying Foreign Policy is sanctions. By virtue of the dollar being the world reserve currency for trade, the US can break other countries by way of sanctions. If all trade is in dollars, and your countries reserves are in dollars, you aren’t going to do business with a US sanctioned country. It’s that simple.
Michael Hudson lays it out in this short video.
Economic Hegemony
Have you ever wondered how America can run up a 30 Trillion Dollar debt, maintain a relatively decent standard of living, and still afford to police the world?
Michael Hudson explains.
Main Stream Media
When America needs public buy in, they turn to the media. If it’s on CNN, Fox, NY Times, and WaPo, it must be true! This article helps you understand how that works.
American lawfare.
Thee rules for thee,
But none for me....
That is the rules based order.
I stand by my comment. You need to read Mike Davis' review of these BS cases. Navy vs. Eagan ruled the Presidents authority to declassify can not be restricted. Judicial Watch vs. Clinton, ruled the President has complete authority as to what is a Presidential record.
So for the President to be charged in such as way is a figment of the imagination. For you to give it I stand by my comment. You need to read Mike Davis' review of these BS cases. Navy vs. Eagan ruled the Presidents authority to declassify can not be restricted. Judicial Watch vs. Clinton, ruled the Pre by is a detriment to basic freedoms. Adding the word "alleged" is a lazy excuse.
