New modernized Ka-52M combat helicopter of the VKS army aviation.

The helicopter received a modernized turret with an optical-electronic target designation station GOES-451M, an updated onboard communication system BKS-50M, as well as a weapon control system SUO-806PM, capable of using new weapons, as well as a new BKO L418 “Monoblock”.

The most significant addition to the helicopter's armament is the integration of the LMUR guided missile with a range of up to 14.5 km.

The M has:

1. More advanced target-sensor package (Select targets at longer range or in more difficult conditions)

2. New radio complex (better encryption, more data bandwidth etc)

3. New system for controlling weapons (adds compatibility for new weapons systems)

4. New & more advanced threat detection sensors (incoming missiles etc)
