The Russian army has begun the formation of high-power artillery brigades, the main task of which will be to break into enemy defenses. The new units will be armed with large-caliber artillery.
The first high-power artillery brigade - 17th brigade - was formed as part of the 3rd Zaporozhye Army Corps. Several more similar artillery brigades will be formed in the near future in other army corps and armies in the special operation zone.
The brigades are armed with large-caliber artillery - self-propelled guns of 203 mm caliber 2S7 "Pion" and 2S7M "Malka", as well as heavy mortars 2S4 "Tulip" of 240 mm caliber. In addition, the brigades will include unmanned aircraft units to conduct reconnaissance and fire adjustments.

What inspired us to begin reporting. We were getting our news from ISW, until we did our research.
In October, Ukrainians complained that sometimes 100 bombs from the UMPC were dropped on them a day. It turns out that this was something like testing a new weapon, and then it will be used en masse:
The VSK Aerospace Forces of Russia will begin mass training of pilots in the use of aerial bombs with universal planning and correction modules (UMPC) in the special operation zone, an informed source told RIA Novosti.
Such a module is attached to a regular free-falling bomb, turning it into a controlled one. The module has a folding wing and rudders, as well as a control system that points the ammunition at the target in automatic mode. With the help of such a device, for example, a conventional FAB-500 becomes highly accurate.
The source noted that the combat testing of the UMPC in the special operation zone showed the high effectiveness of these ammunition - at a low cost, they provide high-precision destruction of targets of Ukrainian troops on the line of combat contact. Typical targets for such attacks were concentrations of enemy manpower, deployment points, fortifications, and command posts.

Arestovich notes there again talks about the peace deal, says it was quite a good deal for Ukraine as Russia made more concessions then Ukraine. That it was better than anything Ukraine will get now.
- He adds there would be another 200,000-300,000 alive still. (Note: He doesn't say Ukraine's military has that many KIA like some channels report. It is too vague IMHO to make that inference).
- That if they would have taken the deal half the country would not have been destroyed or mined.
It is important to note that while he has inside information, he has his own political agenda and will take a lot of shots at the King so he can take the throne.

βͺοΈ As Ukraine has moved forward, Russia has rolled back. It is now weaker politically, militarily and economically... All of this underscores Putin's strategic mistake in invading Ukraine.
βͺοΈ Russia has lost influence over its immediate neighborhood
βͺοΈ Russia has become dependent on China
βͺοΈ Russia has lost a substantial part of its forces - hundreds of airplanes, thousands of tanks. More than 300,000 men.
βͺοΈ Russia is under pressure. Oil and gas revenues have collapsed, assets under sanctions, thousands of foreign companies gone. 1.3 million units left the country last year.
βͺοΈ The dollar is at 200 rubles, the economy is flogging.... ah, sorry, that's from another text
Here we go. Ukraine is moving forward, Russia is moving back. You have to understand.
@Slavyangrad
#sanctions #revenues
Russia's revenues are over!
Washington intends to halve Russia's oil and gas revenues by the end of this decade, said Jeffrey Pyatt, US Assistant Secretary of State for Energy Resources. Limiting Vladimir Putin's ability to finance an invasion of Ukraine should ensure that Russia can never again attack its neighbors.
The International Energy Agency predicts that oil and gas exports from Russia could fall by at least 40-50% by 2030 if Western sanctions on Russia's energy industry remain in place.
"We're going to do everything we can to help make that a reality," Payette said.
"The purpose of these sanctions is to change Russia's behavior and to ensure that Putin is not in a position, whenever any peace is achieved, to to use three or four years to rearm and prepare himself and his armed forces for a third phase of an invasion of Ukraine," he added.
Oh, and another...
"Impeding Russia's future revenues" was just as important as damaging its current finances. "This has huge geopolitical implications in terms of how the Kremlin is able to conduct itself on the international stage and Russia's ability to use its energy as a strategic asset, as well as the Kremlin's ability to continue to engage in revanchism against its neighbors."
Russia's oil and gas revenues are Russia's revenues. As is not hard to guess. An attempt to hit the revenues of the state is an attempt to hit the citizens of the state. That is, they openly say that Russian citizens should live in shit and their country should not have independence.
Actually, why am I saying this...? Those who understand, they already know long ago. And soy... there's bread.

Shoigu: Total mobilization in Ukraine, deliveries of Western weapons and the introduction of strategic reserves by the Ukrainian command have not changed the situation on the battlefield. These desperate actions have only increased the number of losses in the units of the Ukrainian armed forces. For six months of the so-called counter-offensive, the enemy has lost more than one hundred twenty-five thousand people and sixteen thousand units of various weapons.
Groupings of Russian troops are inflicting an effective and powerful fire defeat on the AFU. As a result, their combat capabilities have been significantly reduced. Our servicemen are acting competently and decisively, occupying a more favorable position, expanding control zones in all directions.

The Dubai Airshow confirmed the high interest of foreign customers in Russian military airplanes and helicopters. Domestic manufacturers presented in the United Arab Emirates more than 250 samples of military, dual and civil products
The stars of the Russian exposition were the Il-76MD-90A(E) military transport aircraft, which was shown to the public for the first time, and the export version of the Ka-52 Alligator attack helicopter. In the pavilion, visitors were presented with the Su-57E fifth-generation fighter, the IL-78MK-90A refueling aircraft, the Su-35 fighter, the Mi-171Sh military transport helicopter and the Mi-28NE "Night Hunter" helicopter, which proved its effectiveness in real battles.
According to Alexander Mikheev, Director General of Rosoboronexport, the portfolio of orders for Russian arms is stable at the level of 50 billion dollars. Middle Eastern countries traditionally occupy a significant share in Rosoboronexport's order portfolio, from 40 to 50 percent.
- We expect orders to grow, first of all, not in terms of share, but in absolute terms, given the active work in other regions of the world. Rosoboronexport sees technological cooperation - joint development and production of high-tech products with partners - as the main driver of growth until the end of the decade," Mikheev said.
According to Rostec State Corporation, contracts were signed at the exhibition for the supply of combat and military transport aircraft to 14 countries (the contract amount is 13 billion dollars), combat helicopters - to 18 countries for five billion dollars, aircraft engines - to 14 countries for 4 billion dollars.
Let's keep racketeering the arms market from our dear western partners, bgggg.
Seriously, though. It's cheaper, but the quality is the same. And it's been tested in a real war.

Belarus will change (https://t.me/octagonmedia/16425) its power structure considerably after the next parliamentary elections.
The People's Assembly, something akin to a senate, will become a body with constitutional powers and not just a consultative one. It will absorb some of the powers of the president, preparing ground for a life with Lukashenko in Belarus, and to despair of western experts, looks awfully similar to Soviet Union's Central Committee or China's National People Congress.
It is of course a reaction to the attempted coup in 2020, which has backfired in moving Belarus further away from liberalism. Western think tanks, which I will not link here for the sake of hygiene, are criticizing the "left wing populist" tone of the government, which has as priorities reducing living costs and taxing the rich. And in general have a very defeatist tone as they recognise the government has hardened its grip and it will be hard to repeat what they tried in 2020. The opposition will most likely boycott the parliament, people's assembly and presidential elections instead of trying to win them.

The Israel Defense Forces have published an interactive map of the Gaza Strip divided into zones
The IDF will use it to βnotify Palestinian civilians of active combat zones.β The new map is said to be intended to "make it easier for Gazans to evacuate certain areas" and will help better understand instructions issued by Israeli forces.
π βDear residents of Gaza! Please pay attention to the map and find on it the number of the block in which you live or near which you are currently located,β the message says.
Residents must follow IDF instructions that will appear in the media. And if they didnβt see the message or didnβt have time to evacuate, thatβs their problem.π€¦ββοΈ

π·πΊβοΈ πΊπ¦The Russian flag is raised over Maryinka, turned into a fortress by the enemy in 2014.
βͺοΈThe fighters filmed footage of them occupying the western outskirts of the regional center of Maryinka and raising our flag over one of the destroyed buildings.
βͺοΈThe enemy still continues to hold positions in the northwestern part (this is 5-7%).
βͺοΈThe clashes in this locality consist of battles from basement to basement, since due to completely destroyed buildings, there are simply no shelters.
βͺοΈHowever, the very fact that ours went through almost the entire Marinka from edge to edge suggests that soon the settlement may be completely cleared.
