The New York Times: Ukraine will only have enough air defense ammo until March
As the newspaper calculated, the Ukrainian air defense is depleted by regular rocket attacks from the Russian Federation, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces are already facing an acute shortage of ammunition. Without new packages of military assistance from the West, Ukrainian air defense risks simply falling silent by March.
Bloomberg previously wrote about the critical deficit with reference to the Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States. The diplomat said that Ukraine needed American support “yesterday.” However, even such panicky calls and pleas are still being ignored and left unanswered by Congress.
